Eastern Time, December 11 – the cloud platform dedicated to artificial intelligence $CoreWeave (CRWV.US)$announced that Runway, a global artificial intelligence company committed to building the next generation of intelligence and human creativity frontiers, has signed a contract with CoreWeave. CoreWeave will provide AI cloud solutions to expand and accelerate its next-generation video generation models.

Runway chose CoreWeave for its features and functionalities specifically designed for AI services, including access to CoreWeave's AI cloud platform as well as integrated software and data capabilities, enabling the efficient and large-scale acceleration of Runway’s AI models.
Runway is a leader in the field of video generation and world modeling—its tools are widely used by top-tier film studios and production companies, gaming firms, robotics developers, and more worldwide. The company offers an advanced suite of AI models capable of generating and editing images, videos, and audio based on text, image, or video prompts, while also providing 3D world models and real-time video models applicable to various use cases, including autonomous driving, life sciences, and real-time virtual avatar interactions.

Runway will leverage CoreWeave’s NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems for large-scale training and inference, utilizing W&B models to achieve full observability of workloads. Runway will also deploy its models to the W&B inference platform via CoreWeave’s AI cloud platform, taking advantage of CoreWeave’s AI object storage—a leading service in the industry that enables instant access to individual datasets anywhere in the world without incurring egress fees or request/transaction charges. With these cutting-edge solutions, Runway will be able to harness GPU performance with high throughput, unrestricted by geographic or cloud boundaries, for training and inference on its latest AI models.
