At the opening of the U.S. stock market on Monday, Nio surged more than 4%, with a trading volume of $130 million.
$NIO Inc (NIO.US)$ On December 29, it was announced that 100 days after the official delivery launch, Nio's all-new ES8 successfully surpassed 40,000 units in deliveries, setting a new record as the fastest model priced above RMB 400,000 to achieve this milestone in the domestic market. Driven by the popularity of Nio's all-new ES8 and the LeDao L90, the company’s sales of new energy vehicles have reached new highs consecutively. The latest data shows that Nio delivered 36,275 new vehicles in November, representing a year-on-year increase of 76.3%. Since August this year, the company’s monthly deliveries have exceeded 30,000 for four consecutive months.
William Li, founder, chairman, and CEO of Nio, previously stated that next year, the all-new ES8 and LeDao L90 will both be in their peak sales cycles. The company also plans to launch three new large models in 2026. By then, Nio will have five large models available for sale simultaneously, further enriching its product portfolio.
The latest retail sales data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and the Passenger Car Association shows that in November 2025, sales of pure electric large three-row SUVs reached 46,209 units, up 16% month-over-month, setting a new historical high. Following the first surpassing of extended-range, fuel-powered, and plug-in hybrid vehicles in September, sales of pure electric large three-row SUVs have ranked at the top among all powertrain types for three consecutive months. Both consumer choices and market performance indicate that the golden age of pure electric large three-row SUVs is arriving.
